Wood River Lodge is completely surrounded by 2 million acres of wilderness. Miles and miles of marked hiking/biking trails begin at the lodge and take you upriver, downriver, up Mount Anderson, to the Boreal forest bogs, Swan lake with a canoe, or Moose pond to watch the moose.  The Wood River flows along the property and the hot tub sits on the river bank.
